We have been learning to write an interesting narrative story for an audience. We decided to write a fractured fairy tale. First we learnt about the structure of a narrative, then we compared fairy tales. After that we chose a fairy tale to change and make our own version of. I think I did well was naming the characters.One thing I need to work on is not coopering the book. My next step is to try a harder fairy tale.

I have been learning to write words with the or spelling pattern. I found this tricky because the sentences were hard to write and think about. My next step is to learn all my spelling words of by heart.

We have been learning to find lines of symmetry in shapes. I found this tricky because I didn't know all the symmetry lines. My next step is to do harder maths.

We have been learning about mixing colors to make tints, tones and shades. A tint is a color mixed with white. A shade is a color mixed with black. A tone is a color mixed with black and white. I found this hard because drawing the people is difficult. My silhouette is of an Olympic pole vaulter.

I have been learning to recognise and described 3D shapes. I found this hard because I didn't know these shapes.My next step is to learn harder 3D shapes.
