I found this easy because I knew what to write because I had lots of ideas. It was easy to include and follow the syllable pattern.

I found this tricky because I didn't know how to describe the unicorn.
My next step is to do a poem with a different animal and make it rhyme.

Adding / Subtracting Fractions

I found this hard because I didn't understand how to add and subtract fractions
but then I found it easy because got better at it and used a strategy to help me.
My next step is to try something harder.

My speech

My Reflection:
I found this tricky because I didn't know what subject to chose for my speech.
I found doing my intro easy because you have to say your name and say what your speech is about.
I found finding facts hard because I didn't know what website to go on.
My Next step is to try and do my speech without any help.

Cook islands

I found the coloring easy because I colored in the sky and the house. 

The word we taught our class was hurihuri  in Palmerston island language which means to dance.

Respect certificate

My Reflection:

I got this certificate because I was showing the value respect.

Respect is using my manners, listen to who is speaking, are honest and have 

a caring attitude towards others,.  

For the birds inference chart

My Reflection:
I found it tricky to remember the information from the video and put into the slide.  I feel good about figuring out that the birds were bullying the bigger bird.

2-word sentences

The sentence had to contain only one subject and one verb.

I found this easy because I knew what a verb was, a verb is a doing word.

Triangles

WALA: the properties of a triangle.

The triangles that I made are an Isosceles triangle an Equilateral triangle and a Right-angled triangle.

An Isosceles triangle has 2 sides are the same length.

An Equilateral triangle all the sides are equal.

An Right angled triangle has a 90 degree angle.

I found this tricky because I had to count the triangles and it was hard to see them.

WALT: scan a text for information

I found this task easy because I used the clues and headings in the text to find the items.

I also found it easy working with a group because we each had 2 items to search for in the newspaper.  We looked up the last item as a group.

Poupou art

I have been learning how to draw a poupou.

I found this tricky because I didn't know what disigns to do.

I feel good about this because I learnt what a poupou is.

My next step is to try harder.

I found this tricky because I knew what design to do.

My next step is to try get my lines straighter.

I found this hard because it was really hard to rip little pieces of tissue paper.
